I've gone back and forth on making an entry but ah I love the company so 💜

Pronouns: she/her (occasionally experimenting with they/them)
Age Group: over 30

I Recently Finished Reading: "The Mars House" by Natasha Pulley
A Book I Want to Reread: The whole "Malazan Book of the Fallen" series and adjacents but that's...A Project
Some Published Titles From My To Be Read List: Hench, Tin Man, The Crane Husband, Achtsam Morden, Ignition!, The Sleepwalkers (I have a reading list a few miles long)
Related Book News I've Got My Eye On: (adaptations etc.) I do have an eye on adaptions and news from my favourites! I've been struggling with reading over the last year and a half, and been out of the loop for adaptions etc as well.

My All-Time Favorite Book(s): The Coldfire Trilogy (probably I will eventually think of something else but XD)
My Favorite Book Genre(s): Fantasy/Scifi (more space opera than hard scifi, but I also enjoy hard scifi on on occasion), nonfiction
A Book I Recommend in My Favorite Genre(s): The Warchild Trilogy
A Book I Don't Recommend in My Favorite Genre(s): The Thomas Covenant Trilogy, A Song of Ice and Fire

Link to My Latest Book Review: I crossposted it to this com, but I reviewed The Mars House on my DW the other day
Link to My Reading Log: No such thing, sorry (I have a book tag, but I don't really use that consistently or as a log, just when the mood strikes)

Books/Genres I'm Interested in Discussing/Chatting About: All of them! :D I try to not limit myself to just one genre, but if the vibe or the moods strikes I'll be happy to talk about whatever.

Hench was a lot of fun! I'm a little sad that the sequel seems to have been postponed indefinitely; maybe later this year? But at this point I'm not holding my breath.

I have been wanting to read it for a while, I just never....got around to it, I had a burnout and was otherwise sick and somehow reading never seemed to work out. I have soooo much to read (and stopped adding to my reading list a year ago, because it was getting depressing). Orz

I recently read "Achtsam Morden" and enjoyed it a lot :D didn't expect to see it mentioned by someone on here :)
May I ask if you're from Germany like me? (If you don't want to say, of course that's okay too!)

It was given to me by someone who then ended our friendship in a pretty nasty way, so I'm always on the fence about them. But I also don't like to throw out perfectly good books so there's that.

Yep! Very much German, although C-Novels could have also ended up on that list, which are very much in my pile I just didn't have a title handy. XD
