Oh man, that's such a good answer!
Piranesi is an experience! I didn't LOVE it (and I found Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell more my thing than Piranesi, of Clarke's stuff) but I'm very glad I read it, and read it with zero expectations for what I was going to find.
